2. Check if the Verizon server in case of any downtime or technical issues.
3. Make sure that your Outlook and Operating system is updated
4. Recheck the information before proceeding to the next step so that you do not make any mistakes.
5. Disable any firewalls, anti-virus software, or add-ons that can cause problems at the time of setting up.

How to set up Verizon email on Microsoft Outlook?

For setting up Verizon email on Microsoft Outlook you would need to

1. Go to the File menu after opening Microsoft Outlook.
2. To set up Verizon email select- Add Account
3. Enter the necessary information needed when the Add Account wizard appears.
4. Before clicking on the next select – Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
5. Select the option POP or IMAP and then choose Next when you set up Verizon email
6. In the User Information section, enter the Verizon email address and your name.
7. Choose Account Type under the Server Information and enter the following settings

• Incoming Mail Server- incoming.Verizon,net
• Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) – outgoing.verizon.net

8. Then type the Verizon email password and username under the Logon Information
9. On the bottom right section click on the option – More Settings
10. Then go to the tab- Outgoing Server and choose – My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
11. To provide additional settings you need to go to the Advanced tab. Type the following values

• Incoming Server- 995
• Outgoing Server – 465

12. Finally, before clicking Finish, Click on OK and then Next so that you can set up a Verizon email

Once you exit the Wizard, restart your device and then open Outlook and try logging in to your Verizon account.
