I recently decided to start using AT&T for my communication purposes. I must say I found the process very simple and fast. AT&T is a trusted name globally and is also one of the largest multinational communications operators in US. I shifted to AT&T mobile service a couple of months back and also decided that I wanted to create an at&t email login user ID. - Log on to currently.att.yahoo.com and click on the Sign-in icon located on the top right corner
- Then click on Create one now option located under Don’t have a new user ID? Option
- Fill in the favorable User ID that you like and choose the relevant domain option along with your First and Last name as well as your Date of Birth and click on Continue
- Secure your account by providing your mobile number, Zip Code, and alternate email ID, and then select Send Code.
- Provide the code that is sent n the designated area and click continue
- To create your new AT&T email address and Password fill in the required information
- Follow the instructions mentioned on the screen to complete your AT&T account.
Process for at&t email login
Now that you have created the email account let us look at the log-in procedure
- Type signin.att.com
- Enter your User ID and Password you registered at the time of registration
- You can choose to tick mark the Keep me signed in for 2 weeks option and then click Sign In.
Use at&t email login through third-party email platforms
There are various third-party apps that allow us to connect to multiple email accounts under one roof. Outlook is one such application that you can use to access your AT&T account. This section of the guide will provide you with the step-by-step process of how to configure outlook so that you can use it whenever you want.
Note– The process mentioned below is meant for Outlook 2016 version in particular
- Click on Add Account under File menu after launching outlook
- Select either additional server types or manual setup
- Choose either IMAP or POP
- Enter the user information needed
- Type the display user name (this is a name that others will see)
- Enter the complete AT&T email address
- Fill the Server Information
- Choose the Account Type from POP3 and IMAP
- Provide incoming mail server details like inbound.att.net (POP3) or impa.mail.att.net (IMAP)
- Provide outgoing mail server details like outbound.att.net (POP3) or smtp.mail.att.net (IMAP)
- Provide the Login information
- Provide the email address that you registered as your username
- Paste or enter the secured mail key or password
- Go to More Settings
- Fill in the Outgoing server information
- Select the My outgoing server SMTP requires authentication
- Choose the User same settings as my incoming mail server option
- Finally, go to Advance Info to complete the process and select the following
- Incoming server 995 (POP3) or Enter 993(IMAP)
- Choose SSL as the option for encrypted connection
- Enter 465 (POP3 and IMAP) as the outgoing server
- Choose SSL as the encrypted connection
- Select OK and then choose Next
- Once you complete the process, outlook will validate and check the information. Once everything is fine you will get the Finish option.
Resettingat&t email login password
The next thing I would like to cover in this guide is how to reset the AT&T email login password. To reset the password, you would need to
- Log on to https://www.att.com/acctmgmt/login
- Then select the Forgot Password? Option
- Provide your Last Name and AT&T User ID and select Continue
- Choose if you want to make a Temporary Password or answer a Security question
- To change the account password, you need to follow the on-screen instructions
