- Select the Give feedback on this post option and share the details as to why you feel the post is not suitable according to you.

- Select the Give feedback on this post option by clicking on the three dots that are next to the comment.
- Provide or fill in the information that is needed by Facebook as to why you are reporting the comment in question.
Note- You can also follow the same procedure to report and delete a comment that is posted on your page as well in the same manner.
Reporting a fake facebook page
The next thing I want to highlight on how to report facebook account is reporting a fake Facebook page. The procedure for this would be as follows
- Log on to your Facebook account and go to the page in question.
- Select the more option by clicking on the three dots
- Choose the report group option
- Fill in the details needed and then select the Send option.
Note – This process is also applicable if you plan on reporting a Facebook group that is offensive.
Reporting a Facebook image or photo
Many times you will come across misleading or offensive photos or images while browsing Facebook. If you are looking at how to report facebook account photo or image here is the procedure to do so.
- Go to the post or image that you wish to report
- While scrolling down you will find Options
- Look for the Give feedback or report photo under the options
- Provide the details needed to report the image or photo in question and then Send it.

One interesting thing that I found out was that people can still report a fake account even if they do not have one themselves. The steps on reporting in such a case will be
- Log on to the website and click on the link that allows you to Report an Imposter Account. It is a feature that Facebook provides so that people can report fake profiles even when they do not have an account themselves.
- On the drop-down list select the option that states – What issue are you experiencing. Here you will be able to find the different issues associated with this particular list. Select the option that you feel is apt like This person is pretending to be me or a friend.
- Provide the information needed and then send the form to the customer support team.
